Ferries to and from Piran
The Commodore Cruise ship, the Fast Motor Boat Dora has two floors of airline style seating, both fully air-conditioned to help you relax on your journey. The are two onboard bars, one inside and one outside on the sun deck.
Trieste Lines operates two high speed hydrofoil vessels; the Cris M and the Fiammetta M. Both ships sail at speeds of up to 35 knots, are fully air conditioned and provide top class facilities, including a bar, television screens and music.
Venezia Lines ferries go between Italy and Croatia and between Italy and Albania and is a major ferry company in the region. From Piran, Venezia Lines goes to Venice in the North of Italy. Venezia Lines has a fleet of three high speed catamarans with the latest air cushion technology. These crafts are incredibly fast but also stable which means journeys are comfortbale and relaxing.

Getting to Piran
Piran is clearly signposted from the end of the H5 motorway onwards and is accessible by either car or bus. There are no trains going to Piran. If you are travelling by car, note that they are not allowed inside the historic old quarters of the town.
