Getting to Kagoshima port
The port is located at 892-0835 Jyonan cho 45-1, Kagoshima Shi, Kagoshima Ken.
The ferry terminal is about 15 minutes by shuttle bus from the Kagoshima central station (Bus stop East No.5- Please check the departures beforehand) and about 10 minutes by taxi.

About Kagoshima
The city of Kagoshima was officially founded on 1 April 1889 and lies on the south western tip of the island of Kyushu in Japan. Kagoshima is the capital city of Kagoshima Prefecture and is the largest city of that prefecture by some margin. Kagoshima city sits on the coast with a lovely bay location and has often be referred too as the "Naples of the Eastern world" with a hot climate and emblematic stratovolcano, Mt. Sakurajima. Kagoshima has a thriving port with ferry crossings to Ibusuki, Kametoku, Motobu, Naha, Naze, Nishinoomote, Osaka, Wadomari, Yakushima and Yoron.
